No! All you need is a valid U.S. or State or International drivers license. In Florida the Slingshot is classified as an Auto-Cycle, so no special license is needed. 

No. Florida State Law does not require a helmet. (Helmets provided upon request, at no charge) We do recommend wearing proper eyewear, sunglass ok, as the Slingshot has a clear wind deflector? 

Renter is responsible for but not limited to the 1^st $1000 of ANY damages to the Slingshot. (Individual parts, labor, or loss of use) There is a required credit/debit card authorization, which is $500. This is not a charge – it will appear on your credit card as a hold/unprocessed transaction authorization. When the Slingshot is brought back without damage, the authorization will release and disappear from your credit card. If you are paying by debit card, please be aware that the refund of your deposit can take up to 3-5 days.

Our vehicles are available to drivers 25 and older. All renters are required to carry full coverage insurance. There is a one-time Insurance processing fee of $50,  which will be paid when you pick up the vehicle. All drivers and riders are required to sign our liability waiver and rental agreement. 

Yes. Alternatively, you may opt for the pre-paid gas option at booking ($35). If you do, you simply drop the slingshot off with gas tank as is.

Our Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be submitted 72 hours prior to pickup time via phone or email and there will be no charge for this. Your deposit will be released and you will not be charged.

Cancellations made within the 72 hour window are subject to the full rental period charge per the rental booking. If the cancellation is made within 24 hours of your pick-up, the full rental period charge plus a cancellation fee of $30.00 will apply. 

Renter is responsible for monitoring the weather. The Slingshot is topless and you will get wet if it rains. However, the Slingshot is 100% waterproof. We provide rain checks in the event of inclement weather right BEFORE scheduled time.

Are there penalties for being late or no-show?

If you do not show up to rent the vehicle or if cancellation is made after the pick-up time, you must pay for the full rental period at the rental rate per your reservation. Any early returns may be subject to a full charge as per reservation.

If you're arriving late, the vehicle will be held for up to 30 minutes after the reservation time. After 30 minutes, the reservation will be treated as a NO SHOW and you will be charged the full rental period charge.

DO NOT BE LATE RETURNING YOUR RENTAL. Late returns are $75 FOR EVERY 20 MINUTES that you are late . Please note all of the extra charges and applicable fees will be charged on renter’s credit card on file.

We accept all US major credit and debit cards including: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.

If you are using a debit card, please be advised the $500 security authorization will reduce your bank account balance by $500 at the time of booking. When the Slingshot is returned, the transaction will be reversed, and it will take up to 3-5 business days to clear the hold. 

If booked with a credit card (we recommend), the $500 credit authorization is never processed as a transaction; rather just a hold that releases when the Slingshot is returned without damages, full of gas and meets all other requirements.

We offer a 30-mile radius for towing support. Beyond 30 miles, you are responible for returning the vehicle.
